THE HINDENBURG LINE

This tour can cover several different themes. For example, the attack on the Hindenburg line on 29 September 1918, the decisive action of the 29th and 30th American Divisions, the 3rd and 5th Australian Divisions, the 46th British Division and the last Australian Battle at Montbrehain.
The memorial dedicated to the 4th Australian Division offers an excellent view of the battlefields and will allow you be immersed in one of the most heroic and dramatic battles. From the Saint Quentin canal to Bony you will also be able to see ruins and some of the German defense system.
The visit continues by walking in the steps of Rawlinson's 4th Army to the village of Montbrehain.

We can offer a special guided walk dedicated to the Battle of Montbrehain. The hike is approximately 6km and will allow you to discover the actions of the 21st and 24th Australian battalions on October 5 1918.

This tour retraces the battles between May and October 1918. A visit to Beaumont-Hamel Newfoundland Memorial is included as it allows one to visit the Somme battlefield and to see the trench system of 1916.

For individuals, the tour includes transportation costs, entrance into a museum (if time allows) and a guide. Transportation is in a very comfortable air conditioned Citroën minibus and insurance of passengers is included.
